Dr. Sheila Ashby Vila is a distinguished figure in the field of gynecology, renowned for her dedication to women’s health and well-being. As co-owner and founder of Navitas Med, she has been a pioneer in hormone replacement therapy with pellets and aesthetic procedures since 2009.
Driven by a passion to elevate her patients’ well-being, she envisioned a sanctuary where confidence blossoms and relaxation envelops every visitor. Here, a team of skilled and celebrated aestheticians harness their expertise to unveil the unique beauty within each client, offering unique treatments and embracing the artistry of modern aesthetics.
Dr. Ashby Vila holds a medical degree from the Universidad Central del Caribe and completed her residency at San Juan City Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She has also certified in different treatments and techniques such as fillers, PRP, botulinum toxin procedures as well as hormone replacement therapy.
She is currently training with the American Academy and aesthetics medicine and with the American board of aesthetics medicine to have a board certification with both academies. Her expertise extends beyond clinical practice to academia, as she serves as an Associate Professor at the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine.
Additionally, she is a sought-after medical consultant for major media outlets like Wapa TV and Telemundo Puerto Rico. Her commitment to education and innovation is evident in her role as a training faculty member at Evexias health solutions. Dr. Ashby Vila’s contributions to healthcare and her leadership in her field make her an exemplary model of success and dedication.
She is a dedicated mother of two boys and a girl who enjoys her free time with them and be part of their activities. She is involved in activities such as treasurer of the class of one of her sons, team manager of her daughter’s volleyball team and participates in the directive of the association of residents where she lives. Loves sports and her hobby is playing beach tennis.
